SOME TIPS FOR YOUR WEDDING PLANNING & PHOTOGRAPHY

1. Grandma makes a mean Thanksgiving dinner but I doubt she is catering your wedding. So why have your family member or friend with the really good camera be your photographer? I love and respect all photographers, but experience is key here. These folks have great intentions, but may lack the experience to think ahead and know where to be and when to be there. I have heard many many times people tell me how they thought it would be fun to take the photos at their friend’s wedding but quickly realized how stressful it can be  Affordable Wedding Photography

2. At all cost…have fun!!!! This is YOUR day. Plan it for you. Your guests should be supporting your wishes and happy to be there. Being relaxed will make the image much more “natural” and real. If you genuinely let go and just enjoy the day, it will show in your smile and body language.

3. Have fun during the planning stages. Don’t look for negative things….because that will be all you see. Focus on the positives. I once photographed a wedding where the bride had little signs posted around the house. They simply said ” I will not be a bridezilla today”. It was funny and cute but also a god way for her to stay focused Photographer Portfolio

4. When choosing your wedding professionals that you will be working with, choose those that provide a feeling of security. You want to be able to trust that this person will do what you expect. It may be a more expensive pick, but trust is priceless Wedding Videographer

5. Wedding planners are growing in popularity. It may seem expensive or unnecessary at first thought, but they can be a tremendous help. I like to say it is like hiring a real estate agent. Yes … You can sell your home on your own, but having that experienced person to help guide and take the reigns when needed can be invaluable.

6. Videography is a different art form and perspective. Many couples opt out of this, but remember, a photograph can not capture the sounds or motion of the day. The loud laughs, the funny dance, or your voice as you say your vows  Professional Wedding Photographers
